This is a last minute sale that looks to be full of curious and interesting stuff.  We’ve just started getting things organized at this sale, but here’s what I know so far:  There are a lot of steps up from the street to get to this great old Hollywood home, and a lot of steps inside it, too.  We won’t have any help for moving furniture, so please be prepared to get it yourselves.  Here are a few things I know are in the house:

Family is greatly downsizing and won’t have room for much that is currently in this 5,000 sq ft home. Some of what is available: Kimble upright piano, musical equipment, exercise equipment, patio furniture, tools, leather couch and chairs, beds, shelves, refrigerator, original art and prints, camping supplies, cast iron pans, a ton of books about macrobiotics, lots of other books, trampoline,  and much more! Keep in mind, this house was packed into the garage so the real estate agent could show the house.  Pictures taken where of the furniture left out to show.  Now we are unpacking the boxes again.

We just got this assignment on Tuesday and have to have the sale this Friday and Saturday, so we don’t have much time to prepare and/or advertise.  This is good news for you!  Prices should be reasonable and there may not be as many people crowding the house. I don’t even know all that is available yet, but I’m hoping to get some more pictures  up soon.  Here’s what I do know:   Lots of antiques, books, kitchenware, etc.  Mahogany w/ drop front secretary Saginaw china cabinet, Bassett bedroom set, lovely mahogany bedroom set, Morse Sewing Machine, silverplated dinner ware, and much more.  More info still coming.
